We opened Habité on Harrison Street in San Francisco in 1996 and since then, have been importing French and Continental furniture, lighting and architectural elements from Europe. After spending some time on Jackson Street, we have now opened a gallery space in Los Angeles and relocated full time there.

Our focus has changed from our beginning and now includes pieces ranging from the 16th century up to 1980's. What we have come to realize during our learning process is that quality of material and design (what makes a piece "chic") mixes between periods and we are having fun providing a variety to our clientele.

We are participating in a number of events each year such as the Fall Antique Show in San Francisco and the Los Angeles Antique show. We will keep you updated as to which fair we will be participating in.

We do not feature all of our inventory on our website, so please feel free to contact us if there is a specific piece that you are looking for which you cannot find. We can easily send you photos via mail or e-mail of additional pieces in the showroom as well as search our inventory in our warehouse located in the South of France.

We work with a number of reputable shipping companies, upholsterers, and electricians. We are more than happy to help you rewire, reupholster or make arrangements to ship your purchased pieces anywhere in the world.
